5th Annual Andrews Institute Rehabilitation Symposium: Lower Extremity

This Symposium is a two day didactic course focused on evaluation and treatment of specific injuries and conditions affecting the lower extremity including the knee and foot & ankle.  Topics will include dynamic evaluation techniques, cutting edge treatment advances, and anatomy dissection presentations with specific case studies focusing on these areas.  Lectures and labs will develop rehabilitation skills from aquatic therapy to the future of biologics.  Attendees will have the opportunity to bring specific questions and cases as they participate in expert panel discussions each day.  Advancements and innovations will be presented based on current evidence throughout this 2-day course.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Discuss the anatomy of injuries/conditions of the lower extremity.
  2. Recognize and refine best practice treatment plans for ACL, patellofemoral, meniscus, and foot & ankle injuries.
  3. Explain and understand the procedures and process for use of regenerative medicine.
  4. Demonstrate knowledge of objective movement assessment systems, running analysis and functional/discharge testing.
